A digital "home base" for a community/organization.
Yayasan Zulka is a community website created to introduce the foundation, share its story, and showcase memories through photos and member information.
This project was created to help document and share the journey of Yayasan Zulka, which started from a temporary house for students and later grew into a close community.
The goal of the website is not only to introduce the foundation but also to preserve memories and show the values of togetherness, support, and belonging within the community.
Through this project, I also wanted to practice :
When visitors open the Yayasan Zulka website, they are welcomed with a homepage that introduces the foundation and its purpose.
From the navigation menu, users can explore different sections of the website. The Member page displays information about the people involved in the community, while the Gallery page shows a collection of photos from events and activities.
The gallery is presented in a grid layout so visitors can easily browse through images. This helps users understand the atmosphere and experiences within the community.
The website also includes a social media link that allows visitors to connect with the community outside of the website.
One of the challenges in this project was designing a layout that feels warm and welcoming, rather than looking too formal like a typical organization website.
Another challenge was handling pages that contain many images, especially in the gallery section. I needed to ensure that images display properly and the website remains responsive on different devices.
From this project, I learned :
This project shows my ability to build a real-world website for a community or organization.
It demonstrates :
The project also highlights how a website can be used to represent a community and share its story online.
